Mor Bihan means a small sea in the Breton language describing  50 square miles of tidal water peppered with islands so we headed for one of the quieter anchorages. It was a bright morning but with a cold NW wind. Left at slack water and headed around the North end of Ile aux Moines and eventually anchored after another marathon passage (5.5 miles!) in the big bay to the south of Ile d'Arz.

Went ashore to the small village of Le Bourg.

The village is immaculate with little sign of life but I imagine that July and August will be different. The houses are nearly all old but mostly sympathetically restored. When we got back to the beach there was a school picnic in progress, presumably children from the mainland, and it was difficult to discern who was making more noise- the children or the teachers! In the afternoon we had heavy showers with thunder and lightening by nightfall and plenty of wind from the north.
