Apologies for the interruption in service!
We left Trinidad at 4.30am and headed North to Grenada. The Northern
Equatorial Current crosses the track and the swirls and eddies push the boat
West and East and put strange patterns on the surface of the sea. Eighty miles
is a long first passage of the season but not too many problems surfaced and we
arrived in Prickly Bay about 1900 hours and anchored in the dark.
The morning saw Customs and Immigration dealt with then the grime of
Chaguaramas was scrubbed from the newly painted waterline! It was good to be
back in clean clear water again! Then round to anchor off Calvigny Island again
for the night before up to Clarkes Court Bay Marina to collect Dave and Mary
Waltho from the airport. Here was an excuse to be on holiday! Whisper Cove
Marina for lunch ! ( fish in Aspic )
