Ashore early to get some provisions and prepare Moonbeam for some local sailing and at midday we set off in company with "Shian" for a glorious sail in unusually light winds down south to the Island of Mayreau. We would expect a fresh and boisterous sail but instead we got light winds and a beat and we anchored in the rather rolly Saline Bay at 17.30. Paul booked a table at  the Island Paradise Restaurant and we were read the menu and made our order over the vhf radio - you could tell we were outwith Clyde Coastguards jurisdiction!
It was dark by the time we went ashore and the fireflies were dancing in the bushes as we walked up the steep hill to the village (this was before we had a drink at Robert Righteous and de Youths rastafarian bar) and the friendly restaurant were we had excellent local food.
