Left the Barra anchorage and headed up to Cangas but the marina there was full and there seemed little point in anchoring off an inferior beach! Headed back down the Ria Vigo which I had expected to be a disappointment but in fact is very beautiful although developed along the shoreline. Headed down to Bayona at the mouth of the Ria which has a lovely Yacht Club marina and we berthed there but we could only stay one night as they were fully booked. An RCC contact  Alberto very kindly delivered the repaired wind generator that had been sent to him and came  with his wife Jenny (I had met her parents in Loch Aline last summer!) and their small son Pablo and we had a walk around the castle walls and then some tapas at the yacht club. We also met a Japanese couple cruising their McCurdy designed black Hinckley 42 who are heading to Scotland next year. Seriously hot weather even the locals are commenting on!

We moved to the new "Puerto Deportivo" and explored the narrow streets of the old town and inevitably ended up having lunch!

Thursday - small boat jobs and organised a berth down near Porto where we are headed tomorrow and will leave Moonbeam for a few days while we fly back to the North of England to see Dad (W).
