Tuesday
Up EARLY- alarm went off at 05.30 and up very soon after. Up anchor and left the bay of Cedeira at 06.45. At that time here it is still pretty dark which takes a bit of getting used to when you are more used to West of Scotland summer mornings! Luckily the wind did not pick up as forecasted and the swell was less than expected and for once we could see the shoreline.

Tower of Hecules lighthouse -the oldest in the world

Entering La Corunna with some good company

Yacht  Adela - 55 metres                                                       marina  staff showing us to our berth

It was only 28 miles to La Corunna and we berthed at the brand new marina which has good facilities and pretty girls in reception who speak English!

 transport available to berth !

La Corunna is a traditional staging post for cruising yachts and the new marina is well set to provide for them.

We had a walk in the old town which is attractive and we managed to avoid the trams!
