Where does the time go?

We moved around to Clarkes Court Bay Marina  www.ccbmarina.com  for John and Jane Rentoul’s visit- the distance is only about 4 miles- but the sea conditions were atrocious and we saw the upturned local fishing boat from which one of the crew was drowned and we later heard that the crew of a 45ft Jeanneau had been flung from the cockpit and while they were rescued the boat was never found.

John and Jane arrived Tuesday evening in good spirits and while the temperature remained hot the wind was fresh and with occasional heavy showers there was little incentive to move. A few days later we moved the short distances to Hog Island and then Prickly Bay partaking of various trips and generally ‘limin’. It was rather like being on holiday.
