We arrived here at lunchtime after a gloomy passage in fog, mist, drizzle and some sun. As we arrived the blue sky arrived.
This is lovely sheltered spot and a great launch pad for either getting round Finisterre when going south or for crossing Biscay if homeward bound.
The coast is quite forbidding and although we had to motor sail the swell had dropped to about 1 to 2 metres so things were a little more stable in the boat and the stomach. Nearer inshore the swell was greater caused by "wave reflection” i.e. the sea coming back from the shore and causing the swell to build. Good reason to stay out at sea and avoid the rocks as well!

On arrival we were told that it was fiesta time in the village this evening!
