After a very frustrating day of fickle wind and an adverse current of up to 3 knots we finally had some better wind during the night and then a good wind to bring us to Lombok at lunch time. We were waved to a mooring by Aly who is being most helpful offering us island tours and trips to off lying Gili islands. We touring Lombok tomorrow and then going to Gili Trawangan which we went to four years ago with Henry and Livie. The change since then is vast with a lot of development and even a mosque on the island---we could hear the call to prayer as we sailed past.
