After a long slog west to round Islas Sisargas we edged south west and south to round the Pte del Roncudo before turning up into Corme.
It took nearly 9 hours for the 40.7 mile passage. The wind had died to about 10 to 8 knots and having beat northwards out of A Coruna we, along with another boat going in the same direction, gave up hope and decided to motor sail. The wind was against us, the current was against us and the 2 to 3 metre swell was rolling us all over the place knocking what little wind there was out of the mainsail.
We arrived in Corme to a lovely anchorage just off the village and beach. The sun came out and we had a very pleasant evening.

It was slightly greyer, and the rocks a bit closer, when we left the following morning for the shorter trip to Camarinas. This is where we will turn South and hopefully the inconsistent weather pattern will be a thing of the past.
