A long days sail tacking up the west side of the Ile de Groix.
The wind was stronger at the start once we left the lee of Belle Isle but reduced as forecasted as the day wore on. We decided to go to Lesconil and just managed to avoid the fish farm near its entrance. It is on the most recent Navionics charts but not the outdated ones ! There is a big Southerly cardinal in position.
A great supper in the fish cafe on the quay.
In the morning we decide to head for the Raz de seen as there was a good chance of catching the 1400 slack water. A quick trip to the boulangerie and we were off at 0815 !
A return visit at leisure is required.
