We left Bruno and Vera and drove north to Siesta Key to spend Christmas with Harriet’s father and family. A lovely house right on the sea
with a dock and lovely views over the deep water channel and sandbar

a few “toys for the boys"
lots of wild life including pelicans
bald headed eagles (no photo) and horseshoe crabs
A happy christmas day with a lunch cooked by “masterchef" Robert (Harriet’s father).
a family lunch for 14 including 91 year old granny who had flown out from Bournemouth ( she had a swim in the pool later!)
on Boxing Day all 7 of the Tom gang drove up from Bonita Springs and another feast was presented——barbecued loin of pork
and further activity on the water
a visit to the “sandman" on the sandbar
before a final sunset
a flight back to Gatwick on Tuesday evening arriving to minus 3 degrees and a new hire car——still not a Mustang!
