As we were not allow to use the engine or the loo we went into Darwin to start the process of personal visas for Indonesia. The Embassy confiscated our passports till Thursday but gave us a receipt. Once we were allowed to use the engine we motored out and anchored for the night in Frances Bay. On Tuesday when the tide was right we crossed the reef into the lock in order to reach Tipperary Marina. There is little wind here inside and it is 34 degrees inside the boat at 11am. Yesterday we went to the wave park and just swam and relaxed then went to the Dinah Beach Yacht Club for supper - a real locals' dive with music and a great atmosphere, their main race of the year is to Gambon in Indonesia, 600+ miles, the record stands at 53 hours!
