1, Excellent tram systen in Santa Cruz with a half hour tram journey up to the old city of La Laguna

2&3. We did a tour of the old city which had some old houses with lovely courtyard gardens

4, The fresh fruit, meat and fish market in La Laguna was excellent

5. At the entrance to Santa Cruz harbour there was a Sydney opera house type building where various music festivals are held---the breakwater stones had been painted with great musical performers from opera to jazz.
