On passage to Galapagos

We left the Las Perlas Islands this morning as there was some wind forecast till the beginning of next week. Several yachts are stuck in Shelter Bay,on the north side of the Canal for up to a month as it has not rained so the Gatun Lake is low so they have reduced the transits.One boat lost control and ended up broadside to the lock gate and sadly, a Norwegian we met in San Blas has fallen off his boat which had been taken out onto the hard for a scrub down. He fell on his head and is in a serious condition in hospital.
Our passage today has been lovely, flat sea and 10-14 knots of wind.
