Back at Phi Phi Don

George and Harriet arrived on Sunday evening at 2300 after a good flight via Dubai with Emirates. Having cleared ourselves and Marita into Thailand at Ao Chalong on Monday morning and then re-provisioned we had a short sail to a snorkelling beach for lunch where Harriet tested her newly acquired fins and snorkel---swimmer and kit all passed the test. We then moved to a less exposed anchorage and had a quiet night at anchor just inside the entrance to the harbour at Ao Chalong poised for an early morning departure for a return visit to Phi Phi Don. We had a gentle beat across the bay this morning and then we picked up the one and only mooring buoy in a quiet and very pretty cove and white sand beach just next to Ao Lohdalum bay----we hope the cliff between the cove and the bay will deaden the noise of the discotheques!
