As you may have gathered Gove was not a success. The combination of:
A long dinghy ride in crocodile infested waters
The yacht club was closed
Once ashore the nearest shops were 30 km away
Taxis are expensive and have to ordered
The air was polluted by an enormous bauxite (aluminium) factory
Boat fuel had to be pre-ordered and was alongside a main ship wharf--the ship was due in with provisions for Gove so unknown when we could go alongside.
We left after 5 hours at anchor having not left the boat. Fortunately Helen caught at 3kg spanish mackerel before we arrived at Gove so we are not starving!
