We walked and climbed every day. This is looking over to Morzine

a walk up into the “horseshoe" — on a wet day

and then the sun came out for our visit to Chamonix

a trip in the cable car(s) up to the Aiguille du Midi just below Mont Blanc

the parasailors were preparing to leap

but we walked back from the mid station

seeing some wonderful scenery and even the glacial flows—shortened by global warming

and then returned to Samoens

before leaving for Paris the following day to visit grandchildren.
A lovely few days but a shame that Marita 3 could not be with us!
