Loch Spelve

The next morning we spoke to Peter and Susie - who were staying on his estate at Loch Spelve, he is a consultant with Savills and works with George in Winchester. Having motored to the other end of the Loch we were invited for a cup of coffee and a wee dram ashore at his house. Salty provided the transport to the shore and we spent a very pleasant morning with a log fire providing warmth. We then went for a walk to Loch Buie and bought lunch at the post office, in reality an honesty shop stocked with crisps, cheese, drinks and other delights. Walking back to the boat we tried to see the sea eagle some twitchers were very excited about but it evaded us.
