Green Island
the passage through the reef required no errors
The crew had a sleep after lunch whilst returning to Nelson's Dockyard
In time for supper and another sleep
A trip to Shirley Heights to see the sun set with views of English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour is obligatory when at Nelsons Dockyard. Great atmosphere with a steel band and strong rum punches
We sailed to Les Saintes for the New Year where the Pelican's held a New Year's day party on the beach---- ''it's beak can hold more than it's belly can''
We then sailed to Martinique and anchored off Fort de France, the capital of Martinique
We hired a car and toured the island visiting the Sacre Coeur de Martinique
Le Jardin de Balata

and saw humming birds feeding
the gardens were quite exhausting so someone needed a power nap
and then to the Saint Gendarme waterfalls (not as spectacular as advertised!!)
