We are anchored here after a 25 mile sail due south from Nuku Hiva. Yesterday Helen tore a ligament in her knee (climbing into the bunk!) which required a visit to a fantastic new hospital on Nuku Hiva---examination and xray etc etc all within an hour and no charge. The knee is now in a brace for ten days!
We refuelled this morning but could not go alongside the fuelling pontoon due to swell so we anchored off and used Camelot's dinghy and all our jerry cans---it took 3 hours! We had 200 litres and Camelot 700 litres!
We then sailed here, a beam reach mostly at 6 to 7+ knots and arrived just as the sun was setting. It is a small bay with an even smaller village to be explored tomorrow morning before we set sail on the 400 mile sail to the Tuomotu Islands.
