We left Patong Beach on Friday in order to re-provision for "guests inbound Saturday" a radio message we have heard from the superyachts around the world! On Saturday we shopped and then in the evening waited at the anchorage at Panwa Bali for Henry to bring his parents in law, Kirk and Alannah Rylands, to the boat. They got lost in Phuket Town due to the lack of signposts and arrived at 9.30pm. We had supper and returned to Marita, intending to sail to Phi Phi Don the next day and join Camelot for the evening. However the wind was gusting to 25 knots and the seas were quite big, making for an uncomfortable and long day followed by a return trip the next day so we returned to Panwa Bali and Camelot joined us there for the night.
Yesterday as the wind had lessened (15 to 18 knots)we sailed here with Kirk and Alannah, and anchored in approximately the same place as before. The fish are lovely, the snorkelling is good and ice creams are delicious.
