After a wonderful morning sail from Ko Roknok we are anchored in Ao Lohdalum bay on the west side of Phi Phi Don, the main harbour on the south being too crowded. We arrived in a rain storm with wind gusting to 30 knots. This island was particularly badly hit by the tsunami that struck on Boxing Day 2004 and indeed the Blue Water Rally were here at the time. It has all been redeveloped and the physical scars removed but personal memories undoubtedly still remain.
