We left Bali on Tuesday morning with Helen's leg bandaged following the knee operation and Mark's finger bandaged following shutting it in a safe door in the UK and requiring four stitches.
We have just entered the Java Sea and now have a 380 mile passage to cross over to the South China Sea. We then go to go Batam to clear out of Indonesia which is then a short trip to Singapore. The whole passage is just under 1,000 miles. Unfortunately we will not be going to Kalimantan, Borneo to see the orang u tangs. We decided the risk of infection into open wounds was too great especially as the trip involved a three night stay on a very small open boat up the river in the jungle!
