We are still in the marina at Vilagarcia as winds of 30 kn+ continue. Our charts and chips arrived yesterday and have been shoehorned into dry places on the boat. Marinas are very claustrophobic places surrounded by high walls at low tide so today we decided to go to Pontevedra, at the top of the next Ria but not navigable by boat due to depth and a low bridge. The Spanish trains are excellent and run on time. Pontevedra is a very old Roman town that prospered in the Middle Ages so lots of churches, narrow streets full of balconies covered in flowers - the most atmospheric Spanish place we have been yet. It was lovely, lunch was excellent and we will move on tomorrow to the next Ria.
