Yesterday we sailed the two miles from Muros to Portosin having spent three nights at anchor. Lovely sail under genny alone with plan to run water maker as we have to do this every two weeks or so. We were thwarted by the generator not working properly but caught three mackerel on way back to Portosin as a consolation prize.
Fixed generator this morning ( fingers crossed) and then caught a bus to Noia at the head of the river as the current channel is not navigable. Was probably once a pretty town with a pleasant park but rather run down now although similar to Truro in that the head of the river is next to a large supermarket!
