Today we sailed and motored to Muros via Cape Finisterre. It all looked rather forbidding and austere as the cliffs rise vertically out of the water with lots of rocks just offshore so we gave them a wide berth. Our friend, Hu Stannard was buried today so we have been with Denise and family in spirit.
We have set our new anchor here (Manson) which we fitted at La Camarinas. At one time we had ''pontoon'' advice from a Spaniard, a Belgian, a Frenchman, a Norwegian and a Yorkshire man ---with a Galician fitter making up the the plate!
There has been comment that the photo previously sent was a dolphin----we have not mastered putting titles on our photos but it was in fact a pilot whale: one of about 4 or 5 that swam past the boat during the Biscay crossing.
The weather should improve now we are going south, it has not been great so far, cold and damp. The sea temperature here is a couple of degrees warmer so maybe one day we might feel like a swim.
