We had the most amazing time on the S/Y Mary Anne, cruising the islands with a naturalist guide, the wildlife was spectacular - but it was not a rest! With early morning hikes on land, snorkelling during the heat of the day and a second hike in the late afternoon we were able to see the wildlife at close quarters - we have lots of photographs some of which we will put on the blog when we reach land again. We returned to Puerto Ayora yesterday to provision and check out in order to undertake our longest passage of the trip, 3100 miles to the Marquesas. We set off at noon today and will be at sea for more than three weeks.
