We have re-anchored in daylight with a kedge. Ashore we have collected our emails and seen pictures of Kit at last, such a lovely baby - congratulations to Henry and Livie. Puerto Ayora is delightful and we are planning to visit the Darwin Centre tomorrow prior to a six day cruise around the islands organised as a present by our sons for our 60th birthdays, more details in due course. Summary of the passage from Las Perlas to Galapagos for the technophobes: Distance 802.5 miles,
time 180.33 hours,( 7.5 days approx)
average speed 4.45 knots
motoring 70.3 hours.
..an interesting passage through the doldrums!
