Still in La Camarinas as weather is windy blowing from the South West so not ideal.
Another look in the bilge revealed more water and after further research another joint was weeping now that the water pressure had concentrated on that joint.(Living with the leakmeister is proving trying!H)
Hopefully now repaired but we are not counting our chickens/leaks.
The pies have been dried out yet again!
A French boat came in alongside us this evening heading north up from Vigo and as it tied up and before anyone stepped ashore it was boarded by customs officers who arrived at speed in a rib with the fast patrol boat lurking off shore. Apparently this boat had also been boarded at Vigo and had a sniffer dog sniff the boat for drugs etc. All the boats in the marina had their stern ends photographed to record boat names and then they were gone. We are now being tracked!
Currently trying to get a fabricator to make up a fitting to hold a different type of anchor----the fitter speaks only speaks Galician, his boss speaks Spanish and Galician and a helpful guy on another boat speaks some Spanish but not Galician . We speak only English and shouting loud enough in the time honoured way does not seem to work here!
