After a day and night spent relaxing and enjoying Pulau Singa Besar we moved to a beautiful anchorage at South Pulau Dayang Bunting only a short motor away.  From there we went north to Berjaya Resort bay and managed to fly the asymetric kite for a couple of hours, much to the delight of Josh and Dan who had to help Will gather it in over the rail.  We enjoyed a very special meal ashore that night in the smart resort restaurant.

The next day was a short motor, against the wind and the tide round to the north of Langkawi to the beautiful Datai Bay.  This is one of the very best beaches and exclusive resorts in Malaysia.  It certainly lived up to the booking and as we pulled in to anchor in front of us was the yacht “Court Jester” with Jeremy and Kay from NZ with whom we had sailed up from Australia last year.  A lovely reunion aboard Tashi Delek.

The final day was to return a short distance south to Rebak Marina where Will and the family were due to leave to fly back to Singapore. The marina is part of a very smart resort to which yachties re allowed access.  The children soon discovered the swimming pool.  Tashi Delek will remain in the marina until Will returns over Chinese New Year to help Mike take Tashi Delek north to Thailand.
