84  miles to run to Nuie so we have slowed the boat down overnight and today otherwise we will be arriving in the dark.

We have had a cracking couple of days sailing with winds mostly around 15 knots but hitting up to 25.  The angle has been great so we have been going faster.  24 hours to noon yesterday was 140 nautical miles which is a big improvement on just over a hundred on some days.

Stronger winds mean bigger seas of course but nothing too ridiculous so we have stayed comfortable.  Mostly grey skies and lots of squalls around but still no direct hits so all in all, even if the next 24 hours are terrible, which they shouldn’t be, this will be one of our best passages ever.

Ten days is long enough for now though so we are looking forward to getting to Nuie on Tuesday.  Adina, Dancing Bear and Moana Roa will already have arrived so it will be great to see them and start to explore.
