Mike back on board after removing what he could of the net while we were still at sea.  Blue paint on his shirt and hair is the antifouling paint that rubbed off while the boat bounced up and down on him.  The grazed knuckles are a bit difficult to see but they are there.

 

 

 

 

Next morning, in the relative calm of the marina Michael and Mike went back over the side to take a look.  The water was pretty murky but it was clear enough to see that the net was very tightly wound round. It took Michael numerous dives down to cut it free.
