Bit of a long silence while we have had visitors.  Initially Carol’s brother Andrew and Julia with Sarah and Emma for a week then David and Susan from the States; life long friends of Mikes sister and her husband.  All survived some very hot weather and strong winds while we island hopped.

We are now at the end of a couple of admin days in Pythagoria on Samos and with fresh oil in the engine and gearbox and a fully provisioned boat, thanks to Andrew and Julia having a hire car and interrupting their holiday to drive us to Lidle.  This was Mikes first experience of Lidle which, as you can imagine, is not his usual territory; he is more of a Waitrose man.  Thanks to having the car we avoided our usual long walk through a town with rucksacks, sometimes pushing a supermarket trolley full of water bottles.

We leave later today to island hop our way to Santorini to meet our friends Viv and Tim.
