Another couple of days of big swell and rolly riding.  The forecast was for the sea to settle last night and then stay down for several days.  No such luck.  Today’s forecast is that it will stay like this for several more days so looks like we are stuck with it until we arrive in Puerto Rico.  We now have just over 200 miles to go so we are getting there.

We caught a fish yesterday but gross ineptitude/complete inexperience on Carol’s part and it got away just as we were about to land it.  Another fine Mahi Mahi today and a clever leap took it off the gaff and back out to sea.  Bummer.  Still we are learning and will get better at it all.  We have eaten our first catch which covered two meals and leftovers for lunch.  Delicious.

Not much else to report, we’re just trolling along.
