Marsh Harbour, Abaco Islands

Ross and Loren arrived today and have settled in.  It’s great to see them and start to catch up; they are tremendous company.

More and more boats arrive here each day waiting for the best time to make their crossing either to Florida or, like us, further north.  There are dingys whizzing between yachts, conversations in the supermarket and discussions on the radio all about when to leave and make the move north.  The weather is, as always, the issue.

We have subscribed to a weather routing service for this month which means we can discuss our route and plans with a meteorologist called Chris Parker each morning on the long range radio.  We have decided to leave first thing tomorrow, the 12^th, along with a fair few other boats by the sound of it.  Once again we will be sailing as part of a community which is fantastic.
