Anchor down after overnight passage from Moorea. To our surprise we spotted
a bright yellow boat with a bright yellow flag and it was indeed Elena who
we though would have been long gone from these parts by now so it was great
to see them. We knew form the radio that a lot of our friends had stayed on
this island for some time because it was so lovely and we could see from our
brief time ashore that we would have enjoyed a lot more time here but we
needed to get going so overnight was all it could be.
We also met Full Monty for the first time. We have been on the same net
since 2012 in the Caribbean so it was great to meet them at last.
And whales - we could see the plumes as they swam past the other side of the
reef.
