We left Benan at 0830 for the 26 miles to the anchorage at Galang.  Absolutely no wind so motored all the way arriving around 1330 for lunch.  Galang is a layup area sp there were several large ships at anchor off the shore.  We were called by Galang Radio as we entered the designated area and given the OK to proceed to the favoured yacht anchorage behind Melor island.  A very quiet but hot night with no wind.  We leave in the morning to wiggle through the reefs to the Singapore Straits and the anchorage at Kepalajerih.
