We left the ‘main’ town of Taiohae Bay on Monday with some fabulous fresh veg, bananas, a wedge of Brie, frozen beef and chicken.  And bananas, lots of bananas.  We sailed for a couple of hours and anchored overnight in Hakahaa Bay which was a spectacular, long inlet; a fjord with palm trees.  Not a lot there though but we had wanted to get on and out to somewhere that wasn’t rolling as much as Taiohae Bay.  It was lovely to be flatter for the night.

Onward this morning with a bumpy ride around the headlands and on up the east coast to here.  Bit gusty, but the flattest we have been for a while so we are very happy about that.  Lovely bay, several beaches, a small settlement and apparently several great walks so we will try at least a couple.  The Kids Boats are here; Sud Oest, Elenora, Moana Roa, Moxy and Fluenta.  All having as much fun together as always – and doing their schoolwork every day.  Harry on Malua followed us in and hopefully Walter and Jackie on Jean Marie will come round tomorrow.

We enjoy our floating neighbourhood very much.
