Mafana Island
We have had a couple of days exploring the islands of the Vava’u Group and
they are lovely. We had a fantastic display, albeit some way off, of mother
and calf slapping their tails and breaching for about 20 minutes.
We have been in the company of Adina for the last couple of days and enjoyed
Happy Hour on the beach and supper on board and some difficult anchoring
among the coral. It is always good to know that you are not the only boat
struggling to get the anchor to set and then to pick it up.
We aim to leave for Fiji at the weekend although the wind looks to be
disappearing next week so we will not confirm until we have updated
forecasts.
