We arrived in Rubicon Marina at 1530 having had a couple of days at anchor on the island of Graciosa at the northern tip of Lanzarotte.  This was to have a bit of a flop and relax after a very lumpy 50 hour crossing from Madeira.  We knew that if we came straight into the marina we would just start doing work on the boat and indeed that is what has happened.  Within half an hour of berthing the hose was out, dingy washed, sail bag sorted, lines adjusted and on and on.  We have just remembered to put the kettle on.

This is another ‘Moment’ in our travels because it is our stepping off point for crossing the Atlantic.  We fly home on the 27th for a month and will then stay here for a couple of weeks of final preparations before setting off.

All for now.  The detail and the pictures will follow ..... eventually!
