Overnight stay here so that we can check out ready to set sail for Trinidad early tomorrow morning.  We expect that to take around 36 hours.  Just had a very fabulous two nights anchored near the reef on Tobago Cays which was busy but not ridiculous.  We met up with Quadrille, last seen a month ago in St Lucia, and took one of the boat boys up on his offer to deliver BBQ’s lobster for supper last night.  We weren’t sure how well they would survive the journey from wherever he had his BBQ but they arrived hot and cooked to absolute perfection.  Five very happy diners.

Another big treat was being able to swim with the turtles.  They have worked hard here to protect them and they are used to people around so simply carry on munching the seagrass and them coming up for air even if you are snorkelling alongside.  Magical.

We drop Liz off in Trinidad for her flight home and have booked a clinic visit for Mike to get the required Yellow Fever jab so that we can both go to the Indian High Commission and get our visas which we won’t have long enough to acquire in UK.

Still trying to get the photographs sorted out and some proper blogs written.
