We have been here for two nights and will stay the maximum allowed of three in the rather rolly but pretty bay where visiting yachts are made very welcome.  Shallow, sandy and very clear water which is perfect for swimming.  Somewhat by chance Mike learnt via friends that a former 7th Gurkha  officer was now Managing Director of The Mustique Company who run the island on behalf of the residents who are the shareholders.  It is considerably more relaxed and low key than we had expected.  Absolutely beautiful of course but nothing like as manicured as we had expected and large areas have been left wild as conservation areas.

Roger has made us extraordinarily welcome.  We joined the residents and guests at the weekly cocktail party in The Cotton House last night and have been invited to join family and friends for a BBQ on the beach today.  We have been given a Kawasaki Mule (think of a quad bike with more seats and  a lid on ) to explore so have had a really good look round.

Tomorrow we head for Tobago Cays.
