On our way in to the marina we passed several waterfront homes that had their own harbours and yachts.  Presumably there is a garage somewhere with some fancy cars in as well.  They must be worth a great deal of money but their view over the channel was pretty grim.  Location, location, location.

For our next leg we needed to leave the harbour at the opposite end which meant an interesting motor under bridges and past the docks towards the cruise ship terminal…….

Past the Atlantis Hotel which is apparently an exact replica of the one in Dubai.  This is a small part of it.

When you want to enter or leave the harbour you call up the Harbourmaster for permission to proceed.  We were asked to wait while two of the cruise ships left. ……….

And while we were doing little circles round the harbour we reached 21,685 on the log which is exactly 10,000 nautical miles since we left Turkey last year.  That is 11,500 statute miles.

Eventually we were given the all-clear and set off for the 24 hour passage to Marsh Harbour.
