Mindelo marina is superb.  Full of yachts getting ready to make the crossing there was a real sense of anticipation.

Mindelo town was functional and reasonably attractive in parts but mostly not attractive at all.

The Jamon Iberico had been a huge success but we fared rather better with the carving once we had Michaels expertise.
