Cala de San Vicente

Carol arrived back to Fornells, Menorca late on Friday evening.  Tashi Delek looked fantastic; spotless outside and in which is a lot of work, especially after the two weeks of maintenance and repairs that Mike had done.  We delivered a bag of grapefruit to a French couple that Mike had got to know and who we will next see in the Cape Verde Islands.

Up and off on Saturday morning and full speed in order to reach Mallorca before sunset.  We only have a couple of days to get to Ibiza to collect our friends on Sunday evening so we are tight for time, plus Carol very much wanted to visit Cala de san Vicente, destination for several family holidays through her teens and early twenties. 

The winds and weather meant that we were better off anchoring on the south side of the peninsular at Puerto Pollensa where we duly arrived late evening, 39 years to the very day after Carol first came.

Early start this morning to move round to Cala san Vicente and go ashore for a few hours exploring then we leave for a roughly 24 hour passage to Ibiza.
