Day 15 - The wind is here

Early blog as not sure if will manage later with no one on deck not an option.
After a light night the wind arrived just after daylight and has been building. All was pleasant at the beginning with the flat sea, as wind built so have the waves, just 2 meters now and 24 knots of wind from behind, well keeping it on our quarter about 140-150 degrees. Harold is going all over the place as the waves are short just 5 seconds between each which is a lot of work. Biat speed has stayed above 7 knots. We have 3 reefs in the main and will probably go to heavy weather jib before nightfall or no jib as the wind is supposed to rise a bit more and the waves another meter taller with only 1 second extra period. Not going to be nice in the dark at its worst.
Not sure how dinner is going to be done this evening if at all. For 1 night biscuits, chocolate and sweets will be enough.
