As expected today has had a lot of rain showers and wind, still warm 29C.

Engine cleaned of oil leak residue. Extra cleaning done around bolts etc below head gasket where oil has been. Will look again in couple of days to see if any indication of oil when not under pressure. Suspect unlikely to see anything as never had oil drips in pan when engine not used. Also tried harder to identify where coolant leak is, no clues, Only get the odd coolant drop on engine bay cross member when running.

Wwnt for a long cycle ride this afternoon, stopping under shelter each time it rains. Went to the end of runway next to beach where some people deliberately stand in jet wash to see if the get blown away. When I was there only Boeing 737’s and Airbus 320’s so nothing too powerful. There is a big bar down there on the beach so can easily stay there the day plane spotting. The airport is a lot busier than I thought it would be being such a small island. Air France A330 landed whilst I was cycling away so some beach goers will get the good blast when it goes.
