We had 3 races today in 4-8 knots, mostly 5.All starts were good and got the preferred end, unfortunately we get rolled by the faster boats. 1st half all beats we were amongst the crowd then every time we were not in a lift
or caught the extra knot of wind halfway up. Today courses for us were all windward leeward. We were very consistent with 4th each race in one just 11 seconds behind 3rd. On way in we were presented with a cold bottle of prosecco and glasses. We did wait until docked before consuming it. Tomorrow forecast to be lighter so may not be enough to race in. Must go and get a shower to cool down as presently 36 degrees in the cabin and no draught. |
