Last night wind dropped to 3-5 knots and we were doing 2 knots, so was good to slow us down getting north. Wind came up for an hour or so then about 0600 lucky to see 2 knots. We did then motor on idle power doing about 3 knots for 4 hours, then descent breeze again so moving along 6-7 knots. Presently in the light wind doing 4 knot which is good speed to complete last 80 miles to arrive in daylight. Suspect in early hours wind will pick up and may need to put another reef in to keep speed down. Most of the day has been cloudy, sunjust breaking through now 3 in the afternoon,

My phone keeps getting messages from Guadeloupe about a Tsunami and what to do. When read properly they are carring out an exercise today including these emergency messages. Exercise now finished.

Tonight we shall have corned beef hash, carrots, sliced bread then pineapple slices.
