Guest blogger again today!

A few rain showers first thing so had to dodge them to go and get breakfast. Just started raining when we walked down the pontoon.

Discovered that the carpet in the cabin was soaking wet and with the rain showers no point taking them up to dry.

Checked out of Rodney Bay this morning apparently we used minimal water despite filling up the tank (which took 15 mins) and at least the water onboard tastes ok again.

Set sail at c.10am for a nice gentle 12 mile sail via jib down to Marigot Bay.

Harold was still having problems so Donald spent most of the trip down trying different things to see if he could get it working. Not sure what so maybe it would have been better if Donald wrote the blog something to do with a backbone (thought that is what an animal had not a boat) I am sure if the problem isn't fixed there will be updates when they start to head north again via some of the French Islands.

Once we arrived in Marigot Bay, launched the rubber dinghy (which had been tied to the foredeck since St Maarten). Somewhat surprisingly the outboard engine started first time (last time it was used was back in the UK).

Donald went ashore to check us in etc. Meanwhile, Dad and I put the carpets out to dry, which were dripping wet. Upon lifting the floor boards discovered significant amount of water and a drip from the port hand bunk. Further investigation, was there was a leak around the water filter. All fixed and the carpets are drying nicely in the sun.

Dinner tonight will hopefully be a roti and some rum punch.
